Unless we take concrete steps to reform our education systems our nation will be home to the largest unproductive manpower in the world. To overcome the barriers at regional level with international collaborations R. B. Institute of Management Studies (RBIMS), one of the leading Institutes in Eastern Ahmadabad was established in the year 2007. The institute provides four full time courses affiliated to Gujarat Technological University and Approved by All India Council of Technical Education. It provides full time two year MBA with specialization in HR, Finance and Marketing and MCA. It also provides two five year integrated programs respectively IMBA and IMCA.
Despite of majority of Business schools in Ahmadabad, preferring meritorious graduates for their post graduate program in management and computers, R. B Institute of management studies came up with an Idea of upliftment of students and their overall development. In addition, this course is inclined more towards computer development and emphasis on the latest programming languages and tools. By solving the conflict which is old as time between the streams RBIMS followed trans-disciplinary approach towards the both disciplines.

Social/cultural activities not only help students to identify themselves with the institution, but also assist students to develop themselves in a desired field and also improve skills such as organizational, presentation, leadership and interpersonal communication. As social and cultural activities are of paramount importance, the GTU encourages all extra-curricular activities that are both in line with the educational objectives of the institution and meet the needs of the students. RBIMS organizes Ganesh chaturthi, Thanganat, holi, Agrim techfest, Freshers party, Days’celebration, Farewell party, Teachers day, Graduation ceremony, Orientation program.
