Everyone knows the way to use Google, but not everyone knows the way to use its full potential. Use these Google search tips along side the search shortcuts to seek out results faster and with greater precision.
1.Use an Exact Phrase
Enclose your keywords within quotes and Google will do a particular phrase search.
Use case
Find classes or training on digital marketing. It can be any sort of training or class, but it must contain “digital marketing”.

2. Try Using… OR in search
Google will include all words from your search criteria unless you specify. By typing OR between your terms, Google will realize it can search for one set of terms or the opposite . Capitalize OR, otherwise Google will assume it’s just a part of your keyword.

3. Google Search Exclude Word
Exclude a word from Google search by adding a dash of minus sign (-) ahead of that word. this will be tricky.
Use case
You’re trying to find marketing automation tools, but you don’t want email marketing automation tools as an inquiry result. Let’s have Google exclude the word “email”.

4. Find all Words from a Text Block
Use Google’s allintext: syntax to find only a site’s body text and ignore links, URLs, and titles.
Use case
Let’s find information on Inbound Marketing conference in 2019.

5. Find Words Within Text + Title + URL, etc.
Find sites where your search terms are in several locations. Ie – within the page body text, page title, URL, etc. For this use intext: before your keywords.

NOTE: Google will look for “health” only within the body text where “benefits running” are often a results criterion for body text, page title and URL.
6. Google Search within a Title (one word)
Search for a word inside an internet page title, and another set elsewhere on the online page. For this you’d blend intitle: into your search query.
Use case
You’re trying to find marketing blogs that use the word inbound within the title.
Syntax
[keywords 1] intitle:[keywords 2]

7. Google Search within a Title (all multiple words)
Search within an internet page title for all words in your query, use allintitle: before our search words.

10. Google Search Similar Words
Google look for similar keywords or phrases we’ll use the ~(tilde) sign to find synonyms associated with your query.
